大きいほうから集積したものと同じ量を、小さいほうから集積して集めることができる。

これは非常に重要な視点です。この「小さいほうから集積」するためのインフラを今、ネット列強が持ち始めているということなのだと思います。これは、今の段階で「胡散臭さ」のない解釈の範囲で、確実に言えることでしょうね。
ところで「Long Tail」提唱者Chris Andersonは、「Long Tail」という本を書いていて、そのサブタイトルをいま募集しています。
